Go get him checked out by a doctor.
Balding at that age isn't normal so there might be something wrong with him. I don't mean to scare you but i think there are some diseases that cause balding.
But it might be nothing, extreme stress maybe, i dont know.

Sounds like it could be aloe'pee'sha i would take him to the Dr's a lot of times kids this age worry about alot of different things it goes with the territory, and that would cause bald spots in the hair . If looked into right away they can give him a something to cure it ... Good Luck :)

Does it itch? If so, it may be ringworm. If not, it may be stress or a reaction to stress. Hope that helps.

Take him to a trichologist. You can also try homoeopathy.
