Not if you enjoy art. If you don't like art, then you may find it boring. Hope that helps.

When I look at some of the "great art works " of lets say Picasso I personally find his work difficult to appreciate, to each his own. If I looked at the same art with a different perspective, the history, the colours, the expression etc. I might appreciate that same work, so no art appreciation is not difficult just abstract.

First of all beauty, whether it is art or anything else is in the eyes of the beholder....
When you see a work of art, just remember that some person has said it is a work of art and it is your right and priviledge to agree or disagree with that person.... think about it this way, you do agree with whomever reviews a movie...each of us has different tastes than someone else.
On a critical basis---take a look at the painting "Shoes" by VanGogh. to some people it shows the work shoes of some field worker or peasant.
It reminds me of the person and the misery he has gone thru hiking the Appalachian Trail.
In reality, it is a picture of the shoes that Van Gogh wore when he walked about 300 miles to take over be pastor at a new church.
So you can see that a piece of "art" can mean many different things to different people.

Everyone appreciates some form of art so how could it be difficult? If you like dance, music, crafts, beautiful paintings, money marketing, cooking, these are all arts. :)
