Well it's been my experience that men bond easier with each other because we are not competing with each other and so our honor is more likely to stay intact in MOST cases.
However women when needed create a sisterhood almost fanatic in nature that is sometimes stronger.
Honor system though? That's tough, it depends on the situation.

Perhaps so. Let's try this on for size. I drive the same route to work for 10 years and the bridge i merge onto only men let me in. Women put their nose up and not let me. Especially the young women, Older women are a little more giving on the road. Or honor system.
