Use FOIL and multiply it out. It should be 9+12sqrt(3)+12 which is approximately 41.78461

(3 + 2√3).(3 + 2√3) = 9 + 6√3 + 6√3 + 12
= 9 + 12.√3 + 12
= 21 + 12√3
= 3.(7 + 4√3)

I don't see the order of the equations. You must put one mor eparanthesis.
is it 3 +2sqrt(3) * 3 + 2sqrt(3) ?
or (3 +2sqrt(3)) * 3 + 2sqrt(3) ?
