I took riflery in college - way fun! We learned proper respect for firearms, and got to shoot .22s, trap and skeet, and some larger guns that I don't remember - 30 ot 6? .357s? - something like that. Pump action shotguns were lots of fun, but my aim was far from deadly - I think I got a B+ for the class.

Yes, a .38 and a 12 gauge shotgun, both at a gun range. They were the first time i EVER shot a weapon and with the .38, I shot a 148, out of a possible 150!

Ok here's my first shot story.
It was dark and snowy night in michigan, i wanted to shoot a gun for the first time in my life, so he took me out to the local shooting/drinking place in the woods. We only saw one other truck out there and i knew him so we figured it was safe . While we were loading the gun Ricky( the guy in the other truck) took a side road and we could still see him. so shawn let me unload a clip into the snowbank nearby. well at the time i was shooting, Ricky was taking a pee on the side of the trail. I found out later that he pist all over his pants and got caught his weewee in the zipper since he thought I was shooting it at him......but he never thought that I was the one being shot,.,.,.

I am dead on with a handgun. Can shoot a beer can from quite a ways away. I shot a SKS while I was 8 months pregnant and that one was a toughie, but I did hit the target a couple times. Shotgun, I can hit a target...even if it's moving.

Oh aye. The Cap'n prefers his flintlock pistol though he'll use a volley pistol in a pinch if he needs to.
