Ye and he shoots relentlessly. Good thing he's making it but there are also lots of games wer hes just jacking up shots and elbowing defenders when he cant make shots coz the defender got his number.. Kobe ryt now is in an elite and belong in a short list of players hu can score when he wants, put up as many as he please, such ballers like Michael Jordan,Wilt C,Allen Iverson.. Those 3 tops the all-scoring/game that means they put up numbers consistently throughtout their careers. Kobe's keep climbing up the ladder now at number 13 behind Shaq who sits at number 8 and at the rate kobe is going, the only way to go is up. I doubt though the he would catch those in the top 5 but maybe he can squeeze in at shaqs number 8 w/ 26.1ppg. Now kobe is at 24.4ppg playing his 770 games thus far in 10 seasons scoring a total of 18,726pts, and practically and mathematically imposible to catch the top players scoring wise unless he keeps scoring 30ppg for the next 10yrs if he stays healthy that long remember he's in his 10th season already. Active player comparison would be Iverson with career 28ppg, started career virtually same time w/ 10th season with total score of 20,477 and counting and leading kobe by 1751 doing it in lesser games of 731 than kobe 770, is curently sitting at top 3 behing only the greats MJ and Wilt.
One more thing, you man talking bout Nash in the league of the Magics, the Birds and Jordans, being mvp twice. thats just bullshit. Nash didnt even carry his team to atleast the western confernce championship during his mvp years and who i think is the most over rated of all players. He's certainly not the most valueable of plares. Dont tell me if u put a lebron on a suns unifor with marion,stoudamire and all those awesome suns players that they wont win as much games. Nash situation is like kobe when he was with shaq and lakers during their dynasty, like MJ with the bulls, its because they have the right balance of players at a particular time. The difference is NASH cant get the ring. Just hype from espn and yahoo sports and people like you who thinks Nash is Nba. Put Nash on a struggling team with imblance roster, as good as he is, he wont win as much games. Other players deserve the mvp more than nash.
I also believe kobe has 3 rings already, nash hasnt won anything yet.

Do you see Kobe getting himself or his Lakers another ring in the near future? I don't think so. 65 points don't mean a thing if he cannot get himself another ring without Shaq.
Unfortunately, the best player is a six-foot-something point guard from the Phoenix Suns who may not give his team scoring in the high twenties night-in and night-out. He just orchestrates his team's offense and dictates the tempo of the game. 65 means nothing if your team is not the Pacific Division champ.
I'd trade 65 points for 10 assists each game because it's becoming more and more obvious that being the best does not mean you score the most points. Being the best means reeling your team towards the W.
Nash in in the league of the Magics, the Birds and the Jordans.
Kobe? He still doesn't get what winning is all about.
And to think the offense his coach implements won MJ, Pip and the 90's Bulls six (6) championships. Talk about the weakest link in the chain.

Lebron James is the best all around player BAR NONE! He actually passes and rebounds, and is the team leading scorer. Kobe is nothing more than an ego-miester! Its all about him and his stats. that moron Phil Jackson got rid of the wrong guy! And you know who i mean.
