The car has not been used for a while, new battery and the headlights work but nothing else will come on. No interier lights, no radio, nothing happens when you turn the key.

check your master fuse box,check ground at battery and engine block.but please don't let your father touch it if he is anything like mine he thinks he knows everything but really he doesn't

i own a shop and if its been setting for any ,length of time you may have to have a good mechanic check this out,it could be anything wrong with it,it could even be a wire been ate in to by a rodent i have seen this happen several times on them,but it should have turned over or something when you put a battery in it,but have it checked to be sure,good luck with it,i hope this helps.

check your battery connection,s...........not just at the battery , but at the other end,s as well...........positive cable to the starter & to the fuse block,.........negitave cable to engine ground....to chassis ground.........all connection,s must be clean & tight..........check all fuse,s & relay,s also.good luck!

take your battery to auto zone, let them charge it, and get yourself a new alternator. also, might want to get a tune up, and fuel filter.
