sometimes your want to become pregnant seems to make it harder..just forget about it and every time you have sex it isnt to procreate its because you are with the one you love. try for a year and then see a doctor

I asked the same question not long ago. My husband and I tried for 5 years to get pregnant to no avail. I think it wasn't until we just decided that if by the time i was 30 I still wasn't pregnant we would adopt that I actually got pregnant that week!!! I now have a beautiful 3 month old daughter! Just be patient your time will come. If your having so much trouble after a year then talk to a fertility dr. (They only like to see you after a year of trying tho) they will be able to do the blood test to see if its something hormonal or your husband. Not fun to go through but atleast you'll know what the problem is and what can help you out! Good luck!

There are many reasons why some woman have trouble conceiving. Being overweight is one reason. Having alot of stress can screw up your ovulation time. Most doctors suggest trying for a year and if still no luck make an appointment. I had irregular periods so that is what I did and the doctor actually told me to take birth control for 3 months and then try. Two weeks after getting off the pill I was pregnant. So good luck and keep trying.

Some women do not get pregnant right away because they are not doing it during ovulation time. When your ovulating that is the best time too have sex. Unless your partner is the one that has a problem.
I have 4 children and I had my last 2 by doing it the ovulation way.. After you have your period, this is how it worked for me not everyone would agree. You can have sex 3 days after your last period and you will not get pregnant however, within those 14 days you will be ovulating and this is the best time too have sex. Try letting him be on top because when he comes in you lay there for a few minutes to let the *** do what it has to do and I gurantee you that it will work.. If it does not work, it might be him.. Good Luck to you!!!

I became pregnant right away. So did my mom (and my grandma). We're just lucky I guess. Maybe its genetic. All the women on my moms side of the family never had any problem getting pregnant. It was easy for them. My grandma had a baby every year for 12 years! 13 kids (1 set of twins). My mom had me 14 months after giving birth to my sister and my brother a little less than 2 years after giving birth to me. I only have one right now but I havent been trying to get pregnant lately either.

i was one that had to wait a long time - it took 4 years but i have a 5 week old now
some you win some you dont - dont let it get you down - if your trying to fall pregnant. i used to think it was odd that so many people would fall pregnant around me so easily yet i had done a few years of fertility treatment and still wasnt pregnant. One day without treatment it just happened when i least expected it.
I look back now and think - there was 4 years of sleep i got that i would have missed out on (he he)

i have a couple in their 50s by now. they are childless for about 10 yrs and they keep trying and the husband continue to pray for 3 yrs. finally they got a son and daughter, about 23 and 15 yrs old respectively. i am always amazed by their persistence. but in the long run, they made a good parents and i can see their marked tolerance better temper esp the wife as compared in the past. cheers.

well, everyone is made different first of all; everybody genetic makeup is totally different; i mean, there could be an underlying problem; like thyroid disease; that can make your periods irregular and if you are not having periods right; youre not having babies either, also, the guys sperm count maybe low; you may not ovulate right; who knows; honey, there are so many reasons for not getting pregnant fast

I know where you are coming from. The way it seemed to me was the people that we TRYING to have a baby weren't able and the people that weren't trying had no problem. It can be very stressful. . me and my hubby tried for about 7 months and now I am 11 weeks :) Just keep trying and keep faith!
