Her son is a good kid but refuses to listen to her. He is involved with this girl whos parent dont like him and he see's her anyway. He just flipped out on his mom and she doesnt know what to do. I told her to call the police!! She asked me what to do and I told her what I would do. I told her that this is her call..Im I doing the right thing?

Wow...you're in a tough spot. However not an impossible one. The best thing for you to do is let your girlfriend handle her son her way. You can offer your advice and your ear but if you step in eventually there will be nothing but resentment.

Tell the mom to pick up some military school brochures and leave one out "by mistake" when he "finds" it have a tearfull heart to heart and let him know that you are at your wits end. That should scare the crap out of him and mixed with a heavy guilt trip on top to keep him from getting too scared.

I guess if he's being dangerous she needs to call the police. If he were mine I'd spank him, NOT BEAT, but spank. Actually, I would have done that before he got out of control.
But, if she doesn't believe in spanking she'll just have to let the authorities take control of him.
