The older I get, the more I realize that the majority of things will never change, and there is nothing you can do. It's all out of my control. Just live each day the best you can..........

Yes I do accept that some things will never change...
My daughter married a man who stole her out of my life and got her pregnant and now she is stuck with him since she cannot fend for herself and has no money or job or car...
I also feel like I will never get well from my back surgery 5 years ago...
I am still disabled and hurting every day...
I have very little energy and am so tired most of the time...

I accept that everything is in a constant state of change. It is the rate of change that we must learn to accept or do something to make it change faster or slower. I also accept that there are somethings that the rate of change I will never be able to do anything about. From the time we are born, we start to die. It is a state of change that we must all accept, but how we live, while we are alive, is how we can change the rate of our demise. WOW, that is deep! Good luck on all your lives.

Everything is bound to change, and the only thing that will remain constant is change.. you may accept that some things will never change, but to resist this notion and try to make a difference is proof of strength in one's will and a testament to one's indomitable spirit.. They once thought that human flight was not possible, but today we send people to the moon and I am wondering what the future will bring..

if you mean in regards to the natural ways of the universe, like the earth revolving around the sun, then yes! some things just will not change! as far as humans go, well! we had better make changes, or the lord will return and judge us severely for our crimes against humanity and the enviornment!it is the human heart! which needs changing!

God, give us grace to accept with serenity the things that cannot be changed, courage to change the things that should be changed, and the wisdom to distinguish the one from the other.
This is one of my favourite prayers. It was on a plaque in my Grandma's kitchen......

Yes thats for sure...I am just realising that with my partner of 5 years and it is really hard for me to accept. i either accept him for who he is or move on and stop wasting both our time. At the end of the day it can be a hard concept to accept.

That works out well because there are things about myself and others that I would never try to change.
