I see alot of people ask and answer in different categories yet some stay in just one or two. I see alot of the same questions just asked differently. So this is actually two questions. Are you on here to find out different things, and/or are you on her just for the points?

My malevolence is general, my benevolence much more rationed.
YA is good for getting a broad base of opinion, less useful for facts. Generally if I want to know something specific there are more efficient ways to find it. So I tend to ask questions that are mostly frivolous in the light-hearted categories. My benevolence is rationed.
Others ask questions of a more substantial nature. It would seem particularly cruel to deny such creatures the benefit of my insight. So I answer in more categories than I ask. My malevolence is general.
My presence here does not depend upon points, although recognition is appreciated. For me this is a cathartic process, its therapy. What pleases me most is to find the rare humorous and intelligent beings in the mass of unintelligible dribbling usually posted.

I am here to have a little fun and maybe relax a little, however, I am diverse and do go to the science and Math categorys and some of the others if a question on the main page chatches my eye.
It seems that I have been here for the past few weeks and have answered a lot of questions here and gotten a lot of points here, but, it is mainly to have fun.
After you get to level 5, it is all just fluff anyway. . .

I am on this site simply for the fun of it. The more points, the more I get to ask and answer. I ask SOO many questions that I am surprised I have progressed at all.
P&S is by FAR the most popular category. You can click and click and CLICK on the pages at the bottom of the category and you know what.....you have still only gone back to a question that was asked 8 minutes ago....it's amazing.

I answer in categories where I can give a helpful answer to someone, I try to be diverse; and do not even think about the points.
If I do help someone and they choose to give me a Best Answer, it is gratifying as I enjoy helping people.
I also enjoy reading other peoples viewpoints on different topics.

Points are nice, but I wander around in different categories, trying to help here and there and once in a while being a smart-aleck. Finding out a lot of different things is a side benefit.

Every time I go to different categories I get so why do you care? I like answering in this categorie the people in it are much nicer and you might only get one that is not so nice I just like answering and asking not for the points it is just fun to me. ;o)

i dont stay in just one category. i want to explore many issues in as much as possible. this way it helps me learn different concerns and at the same time, i was able to share my personal viewpoint too. its a good feeling really. i dont just answer questions for the sake of earning points. it is more on self expression.

I frequent the pets categry. I just posted a good joke about washing the cat in a toilet and they have no sense of humor. well some do but P&S is just better for those who have the ability to laugh, If there's any other place like this one, maybe I'd go, but only if they pay me.

I'm here to see what problems others have and if I have experience in so that I may help. Or I ask if I can't go nowhere else for the answers, and truthfully, I answer just to answer.

I stay in this category. I come here to enjoy myself, to interact with others, to laugh and think. It's not about the points for me.
