The whole world has been sabotaged for profit. From the corporate role in government to the exploitation of cheap labor world wide. Lies, lies, lies

I don't think sabotaged is the right word. As consumers, we are free to pick and choose. Businesses provide what we pick and choose from. It's the activists who throw a monkey wrench in the works. As the whale oil market diminished, there would have been no profit in whaling, but somebody decided that it should be outlawed, so many sailors were suddenly thrown out of work, instead of a gradual decline in hiring and available positions progressing. Electric cars are coming, but the restrictions have to be dealt with, so we may not be able to buy them until they're mandated, and then supply-and-demand could force us to pay too much and wait in line a long time. Look what happened last Christmas with x-box III.

---------------
Well, electric cars have been possible, and practical for years. We don't get them from our major automakers because there's very little profit in them.

Did you know that electric motors almost never break? An electric motor only has one moving part. They have been known to last for decades with no maintenence at all. I personally drive a 25-year old electric car. It still has all the original motor and electric parts, which have never needed service (though the body and brakes needed work.) Here's a picture of my EV:

Now, take a look at a new electric vehicle. This car was developed with no help from our government, or big automakers:

The Phoenix electric pickup truck - using new, advanced Altairnano batteries (based on research from MIT) - can:

-Travel up to 250 miles per charge
-Carry 5 passengers plus cargo at 95mph.
-Charges batteries in as little as TEN MINUTES.
-Has batteries that last 250,000 miles (never need replacement.)

Doesn't that sound like a car you could drive?

No. US consumers are the most free in the World. They can buy whatever they want from the cheapest sources in the World. USA imports heavily to meet consumers needs. This is good for consumers. It is surprising that despite this competition from imports and also competion among different US companies, some US companies continue to generate profits.
US consumers should better start saving more for their future and reduce consumption expenditure financed by loans. The US govt. should reduce its huge deficit by curtailing Govt. expenditure drastically.

I think the USA sabotage themselves. Perhaps one of the greatest populated and condensced economies, there is not enough to go around. Industries are hazardously creating new ways to flip a dollar.

My example would be that of the pharmaceutical industry.

Of course. Every company is in the business of making profits, for themselves and their investors, and potential investors. Companies who do not, go bankrupt.
