I feel it is definately not befitting a woman to use language of that sort.

It is neither gentlemanly nor ladylike to use foul language, da****! Once in a while, it can be used effectively to make a point. Used continually, it is just common and tiresome.

What an interesting question. As I sit here considering this I wonder if you are a male, I assume so. And I am wondering why you would ask this question. The way it's worded is somehow unsettling. It oddly reminds me of my dad smacking my mom around whenever she didn't "behave". I hope I'm way off base.

Getting back to the question... the use of profanity always indicates a poor vocabulary and a basic inability to express ones self. It reminds me of all the boys in junior high school trying to impress each other.

Most respectable men do not like ladies who curse alot. My boyfriend hates it, I don't really use foul language alot but a word or two slips out on occassion or if I'm upset. True ladies do not cuss(well, not often and definetely not like a trucker) and any of the women on here who disagree with you in a harsh way are probably not very lady-like. I'd rather be a lady and be respected by men and women alike than to curse up a storm and look trashy in the eyes of others.

I think ladies shouldn't have a mouth like a truck driver, but then on the other hand, I don't use foul language and I was told once I was to prissy, so there you go, either way I lose!!!

I think there is a time and a place for anything but so long as they don't swear like a sailor at a bachelor party when meeting people important to me for the first time then we're cool.

if i could get away with it on this sight, i would be cussing you out right now. they are just WORDS. what the heck does it matter. oh, and the fact that a man can be vulgar and cuss but when a woman does it it's not "becoming" is the stupidest thing i've ever heard. you need to talk to more women, and stop being so close minded.

I tend to be very old fashioned, and uncomfortable when course language is used by either women or men in mixed company and other situations where it just isn't the correct thing to do.

There's a time and a place for everything. No it's not lady like but it depends on which cuss words you use and used in a certain context. mo

yes it's not fit for a woman to use bad lauguage,to be yellin' across a store SO ANNOYIN!!,she should dress like a lady,(not a who*re or a man)She should walk like a lady(not like a man) she should have a lady's hair cut(not like a mans hair SUPPOSSED to be) and i believe a man should not hit a LADY.but if a womans gonna put herself in a mans position and talk like a man to someone then he/she should smack her to the next moon a LADY gives no one a reason to hit her b/c she's a LADY!!(i think i'm so reaported)
