How do you clean your ipod without ruining it?

My ipods menu play/pause, fast and rewind buttons are dirty. I was wondering how I can clean them without ruining my ipod. Does anyone know?

Use rubbing alchahol and a Q-Tip, cause alchahol evaporates so even if you use a little too much, it wont hurt it.

Damp washcloth. Maybe a little soap....not a lot. Wipe gently.

Don't rub the display screen.

Lightly wet a cloth clean your iPod and then dry it.
