" The Count of Monte Cristo Theme "

He had such a succession of incredible experiences that would inspire poets deeply.

or

" Papillon Theme"

As above. A series of unbelievable escapes and adventures which could inspire worthwhile and creative poetry.

Color?

How about using feelings as a theme: laughter, anger, joy, despair

or inanimate objects: rocks, garbage cans, iron gates, etc..

Or how about catch phrases like: "a fish out of water"; "hanging ten", etc..

Or "MY life as a ............................" (tree, garbage dump, blue lagoon, etc...)
