Well, I'm having a girl and the name I picked (Well, way before I was even pregnant or married lol) is Siri (sear-eee) Elizabeth. Siri is my sister and aunt's name, and I'd like to keep up with tradition and Elizabeth is my mom's middle name, and as a coincidence it is also my mother-in-law's name (but she goes by a nickname). So...Is it horrible, or too weird? Just would like some input. (Though I really doubt it could change my mind lol)

it's different, and i personally don't care for it..but it's a family name and in MY opinion that trumps all else!
tradition is VERY important to me...so i understand wanting to honor your family w/a name that others might not understand "why?"

i say, if your heart wants it...go for it.

It's beautiful. I would put another middle name with it though, because when she says her name with her middle initial it sounds confusing (Siri E.) How about Siri May-Elizabeth? A hyphenated middle name would break up the e's. Just a thought. It really is beautiful without any changes.

It will be a different name that you don't hear every time you turn around. My
sister's middle name is Elizabeth. I love the name Elizabeth. I don't see why you
can't have the name that you like. Congratulations on the impending birth of your
wee girl. : }

Beautiful name! Suri is the name of Tom Cruise's and Katie Holmes daughter too by the way. I know what you mean though about picking names before you were pregnant or married haha, I always day dream like that too!

If it's a family name go for it. She could always be called SeeRee E if she wants a nickname....

Plus if you ever get a chance to meet Tom Cruise and his new kid the introductions will be "Siri, Suri. Suri, Siri." Well...i thought it was funny.

I like the name because it very pretty yet different. I also like the fact that you are trying to keep the tradition going by using your family members' names.
