For me please. I don't know her well but that question regarding excess profits scared me. I think she's a nice lady with good intentions that needs our imput regarding politics. I long got over robbing from the rich to give to the poor. I don't really have time to explain it to her right now. It would require a lengthy paper that may or may not serve any purpose. It depends on how she receives it, and whether or not she thinks, or reads it. You know Marx, capitalism, democracy, socialism, think Ghandi not extremes. Please include a copy for my enjoyment and I'll award you 10 points.
I'm afraid she won't get anything good from her question.
She seems receptive to the will of the people, come on let's give it to her then. Nobody expects her to win, but maybe we can bribe her with our will and votes. Perhaps your voice will be heard.
Thank you.

Hillary knows more about politics than you ever will. She’s looking for ideas and feedback. If you don’t like her suggestion, explain to her yourself why not. Hillary Clinton is a very intelligent, well-educated and knowledgeable individual so I’m sure a thesis on capitalism or Marxism is not what she’s looking for.
As for some of the remarks above, the people of New York have voted for her twice and she won the last election in a landslide. New Yorkers are not as provincial as some people apparently are so the “carpet bagging” accusation was discounted by New Yorkers as irrelevant. They care about the issues rather than where a candidate is from or gender or other irrelevancies. Hillary Clinton has been a very good Senator for New York and she will make a terrific president.

I think you have too much faith in her good will. I'm not a "Hillary-basher" but at the same time, she has stubbornly supported George W. Bush's war on Iraq and on our civil liberties in the form of the Patriot Act.
I see her questions posted here and I try to respond respectfully, but if we take a look at her voting record, it's pretty clear that she's not going to be doing anything terribly progressive should she win the presidency.
I have a hard time deciphering what her motives are - is she a closet Republican like her husband (who outraged conservatives in the mid-90s by adopting their agenda as his own)? Did she cast her votes out of political expediency? Or is she really as hawkish as she appears?
The big problem is that American foreign policy, for the most part, doesn't really change in any significant way from administration to administration, regardless of political party. Throughout our history, both Democrats and Republicans have shown a shocking proclivity for supporting some of the world's most appauling dictators, military juntas and quasi-fascist regimes.
Until our foreign policy changes to emphasize human rights, justice and secular democracy as opposed to cheap consumer goods and labor markets, nothing is likely to change.

I see you've an insanity of thoughts here in response for your question, if it was indeed a question. Perhaps you should ask this question to all the politicians involved with next election. I know that there is one hell of a lot of tripe going on now and most expressly against the Democrats. I try to be politically agnostic and vote for any one person I believe can do the job but, the Republicans have already come out with a lot of mud-slinging. Is this a god way to have an election even if its a tear away?
reichman2007 so you get away from politics to get away from politics. Hell, it seems sane to me -- how about you Hillary?

I totally agree with you except for the part where she is a nice lady with good intentions that will listen to our input, and will be receptive to the will of the people. If you were still into robbing from the rich, you could have included her and Bill.
Oh, and think of a socialized medicine system that works—not Canada—Canadians in the know come here. There are no others that offers what we offer, even to the uninsured..

I don't think that a tax collected by an elected government can be compared to robbery. If you don't like Senator Clintons ideas don't vote for her. Thats how democracy works. If she still gets elected and you don't like it then tough not everyone gets what they want in a democracy. It isn't perfect but it is the least worst way of governing anything. Maybe someone should explain that to you.

she knows politics. she's a typical politician. and a good one.
The problem is the American people have been dumbed down by our education system, which is the left-wing union's fault. People are taught from day one that whatever tragedy befalls them, whatever injustice the suffer, wether it be man made or act of God, it is the government's responsiblity to make things right and fair. They have been taught that the the founding fathers were socialists like them, after all Thomas jefferson called himself a "liberal."
Democrats run things into the ground with their poicies. Look at Detroit where after 75 year of Democratic rule, and the unions chasing employers out of town, the houses are now cheaper than cars.
here's the link to prove it.

jordan....we do not live in a democracy. your example is why. your idea of democracy is the equivelent of two wolves and a sheep voting on what's for breakfast.

Well, she is willing to listen to our complaints about health care.............
That's more than the Republicliarians do. In fact, the entire health insurance mess can be left in the Republicanliar laps.
Hilary sounded the alarm when Bill was in office......and here we are...just as she predicted. American ppl are so screwed by businesses taking the cheap road for their employees" health insurance, that we will soon be like ancient rome--done in by our own excess. We can't afford to pay for our health, and the majority party doesn't care....
I will vote for her...My son keeps saying, "only a Clinton can clean up massive Bush messes", and I think he is right.

I think we need to explain politics to the idiots in New York who put the Carpetbagger in Washington.
Mrs. Clinton knows politics all too well, and how to convince the feeble-minded to vote for her. Play on their fears, promise that some rich guy will get bilked so that we can pay for your education/health care/double latte, and they'll vote for her. She's not stupid; too many of the American sheeple are.

Jennifer, we might be better off to ignore her, if that's her. She would stomp on you so hard if you were to actually speak to her with your opinion as you have stated.
She already knows what she wants and could care less what others want, but she likes to make you think she cares. She will even let you move your lips as to speak. But, in the end, she didn't hear one word.
It's called power and politics.
When people hear themselves speak, they feel better about themselves, meanwhile she just walked off with 3 million dollars for people to listen to her speak.

She does not have the head for details, her attention span does not go over a minute.
She arrogantly throws out those one-liners usually negative.
She is a waste of time.
