Cheer cost???

Question

Is $580 a good price for 8th grade cheerleading? It covers uniforms, tennis shoes, summer camp, cheer clinics, transportation to and from games...etc....

You didn't say if this was a competition squad. If it is, then yes! Cheer clinics can cost upwards of $2000 for 1 week.

I would assess the skills of the child before investing more than $1000. When it gets to that point, ask her coach about it. There is no sense in spending that kind of money to find out that she won't make the squad next year.

Cheerleading is a great sport...but not for everyone. If she is committed then she has a good chance for advancement, even a college scholarship!

The cost for it is like $249 a month since that's the team I was going to join but I decided to do Cheer Athletics instead which is the team I'm going to tryout for this year. That also doesn't include the cost of the uniforms which is $600 and the choreography is another $100 plus the shoes which are $60 and the tryout fee which is like $75, also the competition fees are $300 so basically it comes out to be $3000 a year It can be expensive but it's worth it

Its a very good deal. At my high school, its cost over a 1000 dollars to pay for everything: uniform, shoes, spankies, jacket, pants, poms, camp, etc etc. I think it is a very reasonable price.

yep great! i cheered nationally, and i had to pay $2,000 for one summer. but we traveled to different states. thats a very good deal though.

THATS GREAT!!!!!!! My junior high is over $1000! Its a crime! $580 is good! Go for it!!!
