Are you going to try and conceive in April? It would mean your due date would be in December. My husband an I are debating on taking April off. Are you?

my husband an I were talking about if the baby was born close to christmas - if our child would feel like their birthday was never celebrated as much b/c it's so close too christmas.

I have a couple cousins with birthdays in december, they never felt "neglected" over it. On the other hand I knew a girl when I was younger who always had to celebrate christmas and birthday together, which made it kinda bad for her. It all depends on how you raise the kid around the holiday. As long as you still emphasize how important their birthday is each year, seperate from the holidays, you should be fine. Don't take the month off, get in all the chances you can.

We actually started a few months ago and didn't think it would take this long. We discussed taking this month off, not only because of Christmas (my birthday as well) but because we have at least 7 family members, not including me, born between December 15th and 27th. We will continue trying because it is something we want to do that bad, and taking a month off would only lessen our chances by that much.

I am in the exact same boat, and i've been thinking about the same thing. If i was to fall in april my due date would be the 26th of December! And i think we are just going to wait!! I mean it wouldnt worry me as i'd be so so so happy that i'd be pregnant, but if i had a choice i would say that i'd wait a month! Which i think we will!!

I understand what you are saying since it will be so close to Christmas. But you never know this could be your lucky month. It really doesn't matter when your child will be born it will be a happy moment even if it came on Christmas day. What a present you would receive.

Actually if you get pregnant in April you would most likely have the baby in January!! Unless of course you have your baby early. December would be 8 months.

My sister was born 3 days after christmas and she would say that it is a stinker b-day b/c everyone spends so much money on christmas that people say that her christmas gifts are her b-day gifts. But anyways as of taking a break I would say no have fun don't stress about around that time if it happens then it happens..

sweetie i was thinking of taking about 3 - 6 months off because of a recent ectopic pregnancy that resulted in surgery that i lost my left tube. But after i talked with my hubby and we both had a real good cry today, we decided to keep on going, so I'm climbing back in the saddle and riding out for battle again.I wish you the best and good luck, who knows April might just be the month for all of us, I sure hope it is
