Where is a good neighborhood to live within walking or biking distance? I have a car, but don't want to have to use it everyday.

There's more than just nursing school at Eastview. Anyway, Like the other person said...don't live there. There's plenty of parking in behind the school. It's the only ACC campus I have been to that doesn't use up all its parking spaces...half the lot is empty. I would only want to go there during the day because it is a bad area of town. I'm not familiar with other downtown neighborhoods that would have a bus route to Eastview. Have you thought about all the apartments off of East Riverside? There are tons of college students living in that area. That might be considered "biking distance."

Nursing School? That is the main thing over there...let me tell you right now..don't live near the campus. It is not a safe neighborhood, especially if you live by yourself. I would look into the bus, instead of using your car. I know you want to live near school, but trust me..DON"T LIVE OVER THERE. My partner went to RN school over there and the few times I was there during the day were okay, but at night it is a completely different scene. There were people walking in the streets at night drinking fourty (sp?) and yelling at the cars. I don't mean one or two...dozens of people. Good luck in school.
