WOW seeing the answers on the question made me cry..my god whats wrong with parents that they are so self absorbed they cant dish out a few kind words to their children on occasion..what a true eye opener it was to read everyones responses...

The only compliment he ever gave me. I was dressed up to go out on a date and he was with some of his friends. He introduced me as his beautiful daughter and told me to have a good time.

He made me breakfast and we always say good morning to each other even if we are in pain. In my case we are a team, for which I am grateful for. I was suppose to be here for him and as it turned out he has been here for me.

you are the strongest person I know, how you take care of two children with a disability and a try to keep a marriage together with someone who doesn't care is beyond me..I'm proud of you hot shot and if you need anything let me know....
