And you can find other ways of describing the federal budget if you will do a search on the internet using "federal budget" as your search term.

If you can't remember all of the categories, then just memorize the few that you think most important, and lump everything else together as "Other."

I'm going to tell you how the memory books teach people to memorize lists like this...and believe me, it works!

All you have to do is link each item together so that one reminds you of the next. How do you do that? Just think of something totally ridiculous that links them together. For example, picture large defensive linemen from a football team getting off a plane all in uniform and giving buckets of cash to people in a third world country. I know it sounds ridiculous to picture this in your mind, but that's exactly why you'll remember it. The best way you'll remember is if you come up with the idea yourself.

I'll suggest one more. For social security, imagine the people that just received the cash from the football players dumping it on top of old grey haired ladies...

The more ridiculous the picture, the easier it will be to remember.
