I dont know if its transfat or the shortening thats bad for you but I think the change is underway for the lesser of two evils. I read somewhere that Mcdonalds has already voluntarily or has been forced to, because of bylaws, use the less harmful oil. The big nasty in fast foods and all processed food is sodium. You can buy a can of so called heaqrty Campbell soup thats almost 40% sodium! Every type of food in the supermarket is loaded with it-VERY bad for your body.

Trans fats are not bought and used. They are in the oils and meats that are the food.
