yeah, anytime you can bench over your weight your doing pretty good, how old are you?

Honestly, its average. You need to be lifting more. Push yourself.


Here is a tip: Do incline bench, before doing regular bench. Your regular bench will improve greatly. Also, work out your triceps. That is a key to strong bench #s.

That`s pretty good for 17. you didn`t mention your height, which can make adifference. Are you shooting for bodybuilding, or strength training? There is a difference. Do you participate in sports? Training can vary for each.

Like the first guy said, benching your own weight is good. When I was your age, I did reps of my weight and maxed out at 275lbs. I was 5'9" and 155lbs. If you are bulky, you can do better.

When you bench more than your weight, it is good.Just don't make the mistake some other guys make.No shortcuts!!Keep up the good work!!

not really, its OK. I was in the 198 pound class my jr. year of high school powerlifting and could bench 335.

thats good...but how much do you squat? cuz upperbody strength is one thing but you gotta keep your body balanced

its damn good...but be careful, one mistake and you pay for a lifetime.....balance in all things is the best way to live.
