HI! I AM SO CONFUSED AND I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY BODY. I HAVE TWO CHILDREN AND I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN AT LEAST A 30 DAY CYCLE. BACK IN AUGUST OF 2006 I TOOK BC PILLS FOR ABOUT 1 WEEK AND STOPPED. AFTER THAT MY PERIOD HAD SEEMED TO BE OK. NOW JAN. 2007 MY PERIOD CAME ON THE 5TH AND I DIDN'T GET IT AGAIN UNTIL FEB 16TH! THAT IS 41 DAYS LATER. NOW I AM STILL WAITING FOR MARCH'S PERIOD AND IT IS NOT HERE! I TOOK A HPT MAYBE THINKING THAT COULD BE A POSSIBLITY AND IT WAS A SOLID "NEGATIVE"...WHAT COULD BE GOING ON? I am in the same boat, I was on bc for 3-4 years and my husband & I finally decide to have a child so I went off in Oct of last year and been trying to concieve since. My first two periods were normal 24-28 days then the last periods are irregular ranging from 40-55 days. My last period was on 02/09 and currently on day 40. I think that the b/c is still in our system that is why it is so crazed..But you never know you might need a blood test. Good Luck I hope that this help.

I had this problem also and it was due to ovarian cysts. I would go 3 months sometimes before having a period. My doctor prescribes hormones to take when I don't start on my own and these work. My doctor also suggested starting low-dose birth control again, but I did not want to take hormones on a regular basis. So, I opt for the hormones on a as-needed basis.

Sweeite, home pregenacy kits can work after you are pregetant for only one day. The only thing you can do is buy a home pregenacy test kit if you think you are pregeant. Other than that, I would go and talk to your doctor it can be more or more things causing it, the pill, underweight, hormones, stress, not eating right, but the only person to give you advice is your doctor.

well I can go for up to 3 months without a period.My Hormones are a bit off I went to The Dr and had blood work .I am Only 36 but I am pre pre menopause.For me I don't worry about getting Pregnant because I had a tubligation but if you did not I would take precautions.

It could be a hormonal imbalance in your body, if you are not pre-menopausal. Talk to your doctor. Sometimes, bc pills will help get your cycle back on track if it continues.

sweetie it sounds to me like a big hormone imbalance and you may need medicine to straighten it out. i would get a check up and some blood work so the Dr can figure out what is up with your system, good luck and best wishes
