people are very mean spirited and judgemental these days. Do you feel the same?

Yeah, it seems like everyone has something bad to say these days.

Only when I drink, but I only do that a couple of times a year with friends at the very most.
Most people -- as they say -- are generally good hearted.
It's the ones in charge of them -- the "A" types that bend the rules and become mean spirited that I fear. Their power goes to their brains and kid gloves tend to rule others around them. Biggest guy on the block syndrome or the manager and his two supervisors -- we used to call this in the military "The dick and his two balls" syndrome.
Unfortunately, nowadays employers only hire A types, they have forgotten about the "B" types in lieu of power and greed.

No. What it looks like to me is that we're raising an entire generation of pansies. Non-competitive basketball leagues? Competitions where there are no winners or losers? The science fair where everyone gets an award? What's going to happen to these people in the real world the first time they hear the words' "YOU'RE FIRED!!!"? Who's going to hold their hand then? Grow some balls. Get over it. The world is a cruel place. Get used to it.

I've felt that a lot on here lately, yes. It's like some people are ready to jump at you and put you down, like they have chips on their shoulders. It's getting to be a pain in the butt examining every word you say.
