Im sry to hear this, but when a person makes fun of another person it is just to make him or herself feel comfortable with who they are. They want to make themselves a high self esteem and have to pick on others to do it. They cant seem to find it themselves. I disagree with you laughing at it. The more you laugh the more they will joke until it will get to the point where they said something and you didnt like it and may cause a rival with you and your friends. Tell them how you feel straight out, dont be afraid. Apparently they are not afraid to say what they think of you. Go for it and you will end up feeling better. Good luck and GOd bless!!

Well, you should tell them how you feel when they make fun of you or put you down and ask for them not to do it anymore. If they don't agree with you or keep making fun of you it would be in your best interest to move on and find new friends.

You have to tell them straight up that it's not funny any more. Once they realize that you are standing up for yourself then they will back off. I used to have that problem until I told my friends the truth. After that they backed off my case and respected me and what I had to say.

Tell them that their remarks are hurting your feelings and that they need to stop. If you keep joking around while they are hurting you, then they get a double message and feel like they aren't causing you any pain. Stop being an emotional punching bag, hon!

my friends used to be like this too but once i told them that i couldnt handle it anymore they stopped. It took a while but sometimes i just had to walk away and let them figure it out on their own. Now they dont treat me that way anymore.

even though it's not right pick on them back or just ask them if they think that's honestly funny cuz it's actually dumb if they could only hear themselves and what they sound like ... if that makes any sense
