Ok dont worry you didn't kill your horse. I think your horse had gotten a disease or got bit by a poisonus animal. the horse most likly bit you trying to warn you(ok that might sound weird but, animals are always communicating with us in strang ways.)either that or u either you thouched the bite or u spoked him in a way.i would get blood samples done they can tell you a lot especially if u have other horses the last thing u want is for the same thing to happen to them.
Sorry about your loss it must have been hard. I hope u find out wat happend.

I have experience with horses especially in the last 5 years.
I am guessing that coincidence is involved here.
Maybe the horse was injured/ill and it bit out of duress. Sounds like you need a vet though.
Unless the horse was shot for biting you?

Again, you expect us to know what that horse died of? You need to have a vet do a necropsy. The horse probably bit you because it was in pain and just lashing out. I have known a lot of horses who have died from colic. That will be my guess. Good Luck -k-

Obviously something else was wrong with the horse. Because unless you had some deadly zoonotic disease that the horse could have gotten, it has nothing to do with the horse biting you that it died.

Well the only thing that works that fast is that you shot it with a shotgun afterwards. Everything else would be just a freak occurance with a stroke, heart attack, or something along those lines.

Is this really meant to be a serious question? If so, I apologise - otherwise, get a life.
