Can somebody explain to me what is "HUD", in real estate?

HUD is short for Housing and Urban Development. It is Federal government agency that is supposed to facilitate and oversee mortgages and home financing.

Every real estate transaction will have what is commonly referred to as the "HUD". This is a closing sheet with all expenses, credits and debits. All transactions require this HUD (usually completed by the lender's attorney/agent).
