Not really because of the shorter summer season everyone wants to go in the peak season when you can actually go swimming in the "pond". An ocean front hotel room will go from An easy $150.00 and up per night dbl occupancy. You can probably find a cottage that sleeps 6 or more for around $1500-$2000 a week. I am speaking for New England specifically Maine /NH

Cheap for rent or cheap to buy? If you are looking to rent, there's plenty of sites on the net for finding rental condos.
