OK everyone. I have bright yellow urine. I am NOT taking vitamins, and I am drinking plenty... What else could this mean? Do ya'll think I am pregnant? I just had a blood pregnancy test taken, but am awaiting the results...

Not sure what would make you ask me if I am being poisoned. Geez!
I should get the results tomorrow... Just getting antsy I guess. The urine test came back negative, but if I am pregnant it's only a couple of weeks, so I was unsure if a urine test at the doc's could pic up a pregnancy that early. That's why I opted for the blood test too.

I agree with those who said that it could indicate excess B vitamins. There are many foods that are fortified with B vitamins, especially cereals and other breakfast items. Check the labels on the foods you have been eating. I am not aware of this to be a symptom of pregnancy.

bright yellow urine is usually a sign that you arent' getting enough water, if you have an infection it could be cloudy and it will eventually have blood in the urine and will literally feel like your bladder may fall out. i am 11 weeks prengant and my urine is clear. so i don't think that there is a standard color for urine if you are pregnant. everyone is different so you may very well be pregnant just await the results and if you are congratulations!

Bright yellow urine can mean a lot of vitamin b in your stream. The yellow is usually excess b. Have no idea what that would be from if you aren't taking vitamins.

I suppose you could be pregnant, but bright yellow urine is not a sign of pregnancy. If it continues even after several days of lots of fluids, then you need to ask your doctor. I hope everything is okay! Good luck...

Are you drinking plenty of water? Drinking certain things... tea, coffee etc. make it yellow

You could have a kidney or bladder infection.
