If an invasion in America happend?

Lets just discuss for giggles how would a country try and take over the USA. Who do you think would become Benedict Arnold traitors and side with the invaders? How would the invaders try and do it? What countries would it be?
I think that most liberals would protest us protecting OUR BORDERS. They would cry because the little animals are loosing their forests because of war. And their Global warming bullcrap idea is more important then the USA in whole. So we should just submit. Plus the invaders are a minority so they deserve special rights.
I also think the only way the USA can be destroyed is from the inside out. If you let cowards run the government then the cowards will have control. Thus we will weaken our selves to invaders. Liberals are cowards and they are destroying my beloved land. Get back to me on your ideas. USA! USA! USA!

You are so wrong about liberals. I would fight to the death against the invaders, as would any American worth their salt. You are right about America being vulnerable from within, we have let cowards who have left our borders unprotected run the Government for 6 years, that being the Bush Government.

The invasion has already happened south of the border. Now of I were living there I'd probably be trying to come here too and I have never seen a mexican beg for money, they just want to work. But the govt refuses to enforce the law. We have millions of illegals here burdening us with paying for their babies, their health and we are hypocrites because we use them for cheap labor since slavery is now illegal. Either annex mexico into america or defend the border with the millitary like a normal sovereign country should. And in this war on "terror", shouldnt the borders be guarded more than ever and yet bush wont do a dang thing and calls people who defend their property vigilantes. Two border patrol guards shot an illegal drug smuggler in the butt when he was running a cross the border with 700 pounds of illegal drugs and they got 12 years in jail and the smuggler got immunity. But NYPD can shoot a black man holding his wallet 46 times and LAPD can shoot a 17 year old girl and get what? Suspension? Dismissal? Justice!! Where are you?? We must love all peoples and we must also see why the govt refuses to close the border to ILLEGAL immigration. The people who came here through ellis island did so legally. We are being invaded, not by Iraq, not by Iran but by the drug run oligarchy to the south. And if yahoo bans this answer, its the end of the first amendment. They are using hate speech laws to destroy free speech also. Our own leaders are destroying our constitution from the inside. Google video Martial Law. That'll knock your knickers off. America is being destroyed from the inside by a giant bug called the new world order. They want peace thru a one world govt and massive population reduction. Look at autism rates in 80's: 1 in 10000. Today, 1 in 166. And 1 in 94 baby boys. Autistic people will never have children of their own. They gave us aids too. How did 25 million straight black men in africa get aids? Overnight too! I myself have thought about this alot. Countries to worry about: China, North Korea, Russia, Iran. If an invasion happened i think it would start in Alaska. They would attempt to sever the pipeline, and take over the numerous airbases stationed there. It would be quite easy for the Russians to jump over the Bering sea.
Other than that it would depend on which country caved in: Mexico, Cuba, Canada. If one of these countries submitted or were conquered it would turn into a staging area for a massive land invasion.
Iran would contribute its part by nuking the USA, and/or its allies, but that part might happen quite soon anyway.
In the end i dont think we would be conquered even after invasion, all it would do is wake up the many sleeping or drugged patriots, and spurr them on to realize how truly great this country is.

Really good question, the truth is, there are about 3 guns per household and the invaders would have a tough time, that is why we should never disarm/ make owning personal guns against the law. Our country is being populated by lots of people who could care less if we were taken over by whoever. We should strive to get and keep strong leaders, it is a dog eat dog world, many countries hate us and want us defeated.

the most likely sceanrio. first, we pull out of Iraq. Iran siezes the opportunity and sweeps across the middle east. Fundamantalist governments now rule the world's oil producing countries. Barrel of oil hit $400 maybe even $500.
The agricutlure industry runs on oil. farmers have to plow thier feilds, fertilize, plant, harvest. diesel fuel is over $7 a gallon. the costs gets passed to the consomer.
The food has to be transported to the store in trucks. The cost of fuel get's passed to the consumer.
Bread is $5 a loaf. $7 f or a gallon of milk. You get the picture.
They don't need to nuke us to bring us to our knees. If they get control of the oil, they will have the power to bring our economy to a halt, then bring us to our knees.

I suspect they'd take DC and New Orleans since they both have unconstitutional gun restrictions for private citizens . . . er, oops, they found both at the appelate level to be unconstitutional. Anyway the rest of us would eventually have to decide to go take back DC and NO . . . along with NY and CA . . .

I think that while it is difficult to get to the US in mass that if and when we got attacked (it has happened before -- wouldn't be the first time by any means) they'd run through us pretty fast and it would be necessary to fight back the way we used to know how to fight to take back our country. Our defenses are pretty much along and around the border (even overseas as we know). Once you got in who is going to stop you? The police? Would they have to use Miranda? Would they have to wait until fired upon to unholster their weapon? Is Hillary in the mix? (if so it might affect how quickly the citizen militia would decide to reliberate DC).

I hope it never happens but it would be bad, real bad; but conservatives would fight and when the libs realized that the bad guys weren't going to treat them special maybe they'd fight too.
