I read one survey done by a writer saying that children of US and UK citizens and who are living in these countries can enhance their growth to better self-esteem. It further says that US or UK citizens are more concentrated to their individual career that is why they are more focus in life; while Asians are naturally inclined to look into the harmony of the community that surrounds him/her. For this reason they are slow in growing to a better self-esteem. Their energy is scattered so to say. What do you think and say about this?

I think it is the same. The self steem in the US and the UK also brings big deppresion problems to the people. In those countries as other industrialized countries you can see high suicide rates which are a clear expression of low self-esteem. Now, in the US and UK people tend to say it more and create new movements that express their unhappiness with the world they are surrounded with; for example Emo, Punk, hip-hop, rap, and all of those genres that talk about death, suicide, or just the bad police officers and the problems they have in their homes.

In the Asian countries is not like that, people tend (as you say) to will to create a good society. In those countries as you walk in the streets everyone looks good, but as they get home, they actually have one of the highest rates of suicide alcoholism, and domestic violence.

So, the people in the UK and US tend to express theyr unhappiness and incormity with the world wich is an expression of a low self esteem. In Asia, people wear a mask and just say they are happy, and then one they without saying anyone they jump of a bridge.
