it depends on how much you are spending i would say a i-pod if you only want that much songs but that still 150 or 200 bucks so i would say buy the video because its 250 and it hold like 3000 or get a zune the newest mp3 player which is 250 and plays video raido and you can tranfer music between zunes the zune is made by micsoft i have one and it is great but when you use your gree trial for the zune mraket which has everything after the trail expires you cant listen to the songs you download unless u pay the 15 dollor month once you only have to do once and you keep all the songs forever its all one prgam to so i would recommand the zune or ipod.

I love the Toshiba Gigabeat. Unlike Ipod, it's compatable with Windows Media Player and nearly every other music format. Which makes it SO much easier to find songs on the net. It's also really sturdy, great battery life, and v easy to use.

iPod!! I have one and I love it. I have a 30G iPod video so it holds WAY more than 250-500 songs so get an iPod nano. Their super cute too.

Try the Toshiba Gigabeat F10. It's a great value, has 10GB, and holds pictures, too. Slightly large, but cool and easy to use.
