I used to talk hours an hours on the phone until I realized it was a terrible waste of time, and my preffered way of communication is face to face and via e-mail.

Why do I hate to talk on the phone? Can you tell me?

I hate talking on the phone as well. My reason is work related though.

I am a tech support monkey and spend all day with a phone pressed to my ear listening to people whine and tell me how bad their life is because their stuff isn't working. When I come home at night I just don't want to be bothered by people I know doing the same thing.

I would like to add that email, as nice as it is, can cause problems as well because it is easier to misinterpret something that is written than something that is said.

it may be from using the phone so much. my friend is the same way. i would want to call her but she says NO come over or e-mail me.the reason being is because e she would talk for hours on end and she got bored of the phone.
