Well, it is likely your computer is infected with adware and/or spyware. A sudden drop in a computer's performance is a telltale sign of spyware infection. There are a number of free anti spyware programs available; so, you don't need to spend a dime - unless you want to. The 3 most popular free programs are Windows Defender, Spybot Search & Destroy and Ad Aware. You can find all 3 programs at (http://www.filehippo.com/software/antispyware/). Unlike antivirus programs, you can install more than 1 anti spyware program without a problem - in fact, you should install all 3. What one program misses another program will find and vice a versa. For instructions on how to use them, please refer to these articles.

1. "How to use Spybot" -- written by Brian Satterfield, cnet.com (http://www.download.com/1200-2023_4-5157526.html)

2. "How to protect your PC with Ad-Aware" - written by Brian Satterfield (http://www.download.com/How-to-use-Ad-Aware/1200-2023_4-5157520.html?tag=morehowto)

-----------------------
Download the anti spyware programs - 1, 2 or all 3. Install and update them (refer to the articles on how to update them). Finally, scan using one program at a time. Be sure to quarantine and suspicious files. To protect your computer for the future, you should have at least an antivirus, anti spyware and firewall program installed on your computer. It will save you alot of grief. If you have any more question or need help setting up the programs, just drop me an email.

If you do not have firefox get it now and use it instead of internet explorer so you dont get any more spyware http://securitynewsfromthenet.blogspot.com/

to remove the spyware run steps 1-2-3

1) If you have not already scanned your comp with spybot http://spywarekiller.hyperboards.com/index.php?action=view_topic&topic_id=4 do that now .Update it and then run it so it gets rid of all the spyware and trojans in safe mode

1b) Run AVG Anti-Spyware Free

2) Do an online virus scan to check and remove virus and spyware if you still have viruses on your computer. And let us know if the online virus scan still finds any virus or spyware .

If you believe your computer has spyware, the FTC wants to know. File a complaint with the FTC.

Go to http://forum.ccleaner.com and make a post in their "Spyware Hell" sub forum and they will sort out any leftovers.

Get AVG free http://free.grisoft.com
ONLY get antvirus apps from their official home page, NOT from other links as other sites may be hosting old or infected files.

Don't touch windows defender its rubbish and so is Norton/Mcafee/Trendmicro/Symantec.

There is no-reason to buy and use NoAdware when there are freeware alternatives like:

Spybot Search and Destroy:
http://www.spybot.info
AdAware SE Personal (free)
http://www.lavasoft.de/

Also get the freeware CrapCleaner to clean up temporary junk:

stop surfing for porn....lol then maybe this wouldnt have happend in the first place....Most times when the computers have reached that phase that means the viruses have already reached into your files and pretty much ****** your shiit up...lol for reals viruses tend to open and duplicate files which destroy your hardware devices..files..etc.. the best thing to do is to take your box into a computer repair shop...
