Since a leap year is 366 days long, and since that is an even number, there is no middle day. The middle is the moment between day 183 and 184. That is between July 1 and 2 I think.

There can only be a "middle" if there is an odd number of things. A leap year has 366 days and that is an even number. Therefore, there is no middle date in a leap year. A simple analogy is if you have 5 things (an odd number), the 3rd one is the middle one. But if you have 4 things(an even number), there is no "middle" one.

what these answerers above are saying is partially true, you CAN figure out the middle date of the year by diving 366 by 2, or you also can take the average, whatever the two middle numbers happen to be and divide by 2, i have just tried this on the calculator and it worked out both ways. then all you need to do is count the number of days on a calender starting with Jan 1st

cheers, hope it helps
