I was in Gym class and i fell off the rope after swinging and my ACL tore off a chunk of my Tibia bone and i had Surgery last Tuesday on it and it SUCKS!!!!!!! :(

From what it sounds like, I had this exact same break. Expect a lot of physical therapy and perhaps a second surgery (like I had) if there is a lot of scar tissue. I had a messed up leg for about a year, but now I have almost a full range of motion and it doesn't trouble me at all really.

Everyone is sympathetic because it is polite and they like to hear a good story!

Im so sorry to hear about your leg!!!!!, Im right now in the same situation, broke my leg two weeks ago, im casted, in pain and bored!!!! and you are right people seems to be very sympathetic!!!, thats great I think.

so how long will take your recovery? are u casted?

Everyone feels some type of guilt when you hurt yourself. Get use to it , it should make you feel really special.
