I read on here somewhere before that if you take an ovulation test and you are pregnant you will get the two lines is that true? I thought they both tested for different levels one is hcg one is LH...

They do test for different hormones, as you said. In some cases LH stays high when you are pregnant and then you'd get a positive.

Studies were done to see if using ovulation tests would help predict if a pregnancy had been established (before it is late enough to take a pregnancy test), but the results showed that they were accurate in only 60% of the cases... That's a big margin of error, so they're not considered useful in that sense.
