Amanda had the right answer. Let fate do the work. Sometimes a defective fetus will abort (miscarry) on it's own.

there are times that the body rejects the pregnancy during one of the trimesters usually the first and sometimes the second.
I don't know of any other way for the fetus to be removed other than a therapeutic abortion. Is there a reason why you are asking this
Has the doctor not spoken to you about this?
Miscarriage occurs occasionally by a normal body function
the body just doesn't carry the baby to term.

Wishing you good luck Sorry

Sometimes you can be induced and deliver your baby early. The baby will most likely not make it, but you wont be aborting it either. It would be just as hard or harder than an abortion I think, but its an option, you would get to hold it probably, but it would be very hard, and if you are far enough along the baby may still make it. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

A friend of mine had a son with Trismony 13. She chose to give birth though she knew he would die (3 months later) from the complications, but she cherished every moment she spent with him. God works in mysterious ways to teach us things. She had a healthy son later on, and currently has another healthy son on the way now.

It should take its course. A woman should choose to give birth in the end, or induce early if the baby is going to pass away at the end. Either way, it's the hardest thing to do.

if the mother doesn't want the baby or cannot take care of it the only other option would be adoption. i have done lots of research on abortion and even if the baby is so called "defective" it still feels pain. I am also in the process of getting my degree as an OB/GYN physician.

if the baby has a severe deformity the body may reject it anyways!

Letting God do his will. I dont know what you mean by being defective. Like the baby being born with no brain or major organ or just having a mental/physical deformaity? Either way I would let my pregnacy run it's course.

have you asked for 2nd opinion?
in some case, surgery can be performed on fetus before birth or immediately after birth.
people already gave thei opinion on whether or not to abort so I won't go there.
BEST of luck!

if the baby has a deformity and it does not trigger miscarraige, either keep the baby and care for it and love it or give it up for adoption.
