Initially you get it from a shop. The shop gets it from a wholesaler. The Wholesaler gets it from or is the manufacturer. They get it from various sources (so they say). Read the label and find out where they claim it comes from. Perrier supposedly comes from France. Sometimes its just filtered tap water.

Most come from a the same source as your tap water. Often you can find a certain brand has a facility where they filter the water a bit more. EVERPURE supplies many water companies with filtration units.

i don't know but the copanies that bottle it are making a lot of money because all they pay for is the bottles and the proccess of bottling which probaly cost about 10 cent per bottle and they sell it for $1.30... huge profits... I get my water from the kitchen sink..it's free

It depends on the bottler. Some comes from the cities municipal water supply, others comes from springs, glaciers etc.
