How many times a day does the average women urinate. Is it abnormal to urintate about 14 times a day?

It depends on many factors.
If you suddenly started urinating that much, I'd see a Dr. to rule out Diabetes.
On the other hand, if you just began a water intake increase to help yourself become healthier, maybe that's at fault.
I'd see an MD at any rate.

It depends. If you are drinking adequate amounts of water (the recommended 8-9 8oz glasses), then it's normal to urinate about once an hour. Naturally if you're drinking less water and still going 14 times a day, see a Doctor. You could have an overactive bladder, bladder infection or kidney trouble. Also, caffeine comes into play to some extent. Caffeine is a natural diuretic and if you drink 2-3 cups a day, you'll urinate more throughout the day in spite of how much or little water you've drunk.

Anything above 10 times a day is considered high. Many things can cause a person to urinate that frequently. Things the think about are how much do I drink? Also, if you had a child, sometimes that can lead to incontinence. You might have a kidney problem or a vasopressin problem. You could have diabetes mellitus or its forgotten cousin, diabetes insipidus.
OR it could just mean you have an overactive bladder, and something like Detrol will stop it.
Go to your doctor, and get a work up.
