Need more traffic to my website...?

I don't have an advertising budget. I want to know the best ways to get web traffic without spending money.

First of all your website needs to have lots of good information....the more pages to your site the better. This will give you more possible links to your site and people more opportunities to find you.

Make sure there is a reason for people to come to your site. What is the benefit for them?

There are free website directories where you can have your site listed and some that charge fees as well. Get into some of those with high google page ranks.

Get links from other sites to yours. This will improve your ranking in the search engines. You can do this by writing articles and posting them to online article sites....in the bio about the author you put a link to your site. Another way is to go to forums related to your topic and then link to your site.
