just start the homework. tell your friends u have to stop talking if u wanna make it to highschool. once u start it wont be as tiring.
also listen and participate in class. that will make studying much easier. and teachers usaully care more about participating then getting the question right. talk to your teachers and try to do some extra credit. good luck

Do your work. You need to realize that this is important. You are building the foundation of the rest of your life today. Do not put off a single assignment, not a single chance to read or study, stop everything and just do you work.
By the way, and yes, I know this is almost a terrible thing to suggest, but why not set your cell phone aside, turn it off, turn off the ipod and mp3 players, and just establish a place in your house, in your room, where you have no distractions at all. Your friends will leave a message for you which you can answer after your work is done ... besides, if they are really your friends, they will help you and not stop you.

First- you should concentrate on what your teachers are telling you, listen to them
Second- If you really want to go to high school, then you should ask your teachers to tutor you after school.
Third- Become a teachers pet, it worked for me, i ended up getting the highest grade in class for helping her pass out papers and do everything she tells me to.
Fourth- you can spend more time studying then everything else. The semester is almost over and schools almost over too. so you better pick your grades up. Good Luck!

If you WANT to attend high school, instruct your friends not to talk to you so much and why. Only you can control this situation. If your friends respect you, they will honor your request. If you respect yourself, you will study and not talk so much. Get your priorities in order.

There isn't an easy solution. Your only option, is to stop neglecting your schoolwork. Most of us didn't like to do it. Schoolworks simply sucks. Though we did it anyhow, because dropping out, leads to one bleak future.
