Okay, so Sanjaya may be a better singer than I am, (heck, so is my cat), but that doesn't mean that he DESERVES to have gotten as far as he has. It is, after all, a singing competition, and I believe that many, many, many people must have forgotten this little tidbit. Otherwise, he would have been gone a long time ago. It's ridiculous. I am actually going to vote next week.
By the way, what the heck was up with Chris being in the bottom this week????????????????????????????????? He's awesome!

Something's messed up. I have a feeling some sort of group might've tried to rig this out of spite or for laughs, but it's not fair. Or perhaps people just think Sanjaya is uber-cute and are fueled on even more by the fact that so many people think he doesn't deserve to remain.
It kind of sucks. I don't vote, but I think that people are being inflexible and just choosing people based. We don't know how to be good critics; people probably vote on who's the cutest or who has the nicest personality, and they craft this inflexible bond with a particular contestant, so the things that really count get pushed aside.

I totally agree with you.. The voting is a bit crazy.. But there is a website for people that dont like american idol its called www.votefortheworst.com and they are telling everyone to vote for sanjaya..
Also the Teens like him!!

Did you notice that Idol was very soft of Sanjaya's shortcomings last night? They want him in the road show.

I think that the public is actually sick of american idol and they are voting for the worst this year and not the best.

They already know who's the idol and this is just for publicity. the music and record industry determines the winner by how many would and could use a specific one of them not the public this is a gag cant you tell

Some of the shock jocks (ie Howard Stern) are calling all of their fans to help keep the WORST SINGER in and help them win. I guess they think it will be a funny gag and screw with the system.

the voting is alright, its the people who r voting that's messed up. I dunno who it is, but they're getting in alot of votes to keep Sanjaya and Haley in.

I agree something is up this year!!!! I THINK THE WRONG PEOPLE ARE VOTING THIS YEAR, becaseu they are voting all the wrong people off, i just can't belive this!!
