My friend want to know can take a douche during pregnant...she is 34 weeks..

please no do not do that i have 5 kids i know what i am talking about if you douche wile your pregnant it can co use a air pocket which can couse you to lose your baby if you need to freshen up because of the discharge you get when your pregnant (which by the way is normal )then use moist wipes or a fenamin spray or body spray or the comma nation of both but please wot ever you decide PLEASE DO NOT DOUCHE. Douching is a bad idea. Pregnant or not. Douching greatly contributes to cervical cancer. And at 34 weeks she shouldn't be putting stuff up there. If her water is anywhere near breaking it's a good way to get an infection. Tell her to use baby wipes.

No definitely not.
Besides why would you want to douche anyway? Did you know that douching actually strips us of natural agents to fight bacteria and that douching also is responsible for many infections. You are actually flushing all that good stuff way up you before it comes out. Yucky!!!

No... douching during pregnancy can upset the delicate balance of body chemistry in the vagina and can lead to problems...

No! She could wash bacteria into the cervix, get an infection and essentially:
#1- Have a miscarriage
#2- Have a baby with birth defects
Give her a big fat no!!!!!! and you're a good friend for finding out for her

nope. not safe to douche during pregnancy. you can get air up there which can be harmful to baby and mom.
douching can also lead her to be more prone to infection.. wait till after baby is born she dosnt have that long

Nope because there are chemicals down there from the increase in hormones that need to be there...tell her sorry and every woman goes through it. Take a bath

my doctor told me not to but she should call her doc or nurse to find out for sure some docs may allow it good luck!! ( there are other ways to stay fresh) I've never been big on douches!!
