For a computer what does this mean??

ICF,TCP, and UDP I know they have to do with networking but what do all the letters mean?? Thanks :)

ICF stand for Internet Connection Firewall, a firewall used by Windows XP. The others are protocols used in transferring information on the network. TCP is Transmission Control Protocol. UDP stands for User Datagram Protocol
