Most of the time people who have a 'friend with benefits' are not interested in really having a true relationship, so they have someone they can 'mess around with', i.e. have sex with, without the drama of a relationship.

«FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS» are friends, or maybe only acquaintances, who have a spoken or an unspoken agreement to have sex occasionally, without ever pursuing a romantic relationship.
As a result, some friends decide to take it to the next level, just for fun, without all the trappings of an actual relationship. Being simply «FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS» is definitely easier at first, but are the negatives that come with it worth the promise of casual sex?

Ahhhhhhh friends with bennie's, my fav subject! This simply means that you and your friend are banging. This works out well for awhile. The problems begin when the girl (or guy, but 97.4% of the time it's the girl) starts to develop feelings. It's not a matter of "if" this will happen, it's a matter of "when". Then you better have a really damn good reason why you don't want a relationship, or you will lose that friend forever

Friends with Benefits, are two people who have decided to be active sexually (whether that be kissing, cuddling, or even sex) But there is no committment. They don't refer to eachother as boyfriend or girlfriend, and they can go ahead and date other people on the side if they want to. Its purely just to sexually satisfy eachother.

Friends with benefits is a nice way of saying booty call.
It is a demeaning way of saying that you get to have sex with someone you know anytime you want and there are no strings attached.
If someone is trying to get you to agree to be friends with benefits, don't do it if you have any respect for yourself.

Friends=I dont love you, With= but instead of the whole buddie buddie thing, Benefits mean= lets have hot steamy sex, tell no one, and look the other way when one of us ACTUALLY likes someone

That term is when two friends want some type of physical thing but without the whole romantic relationship aspect of it. People that usually get involved in this dont have feelings for each other.

For friends with benefits, the fooling around generally happens after you're friends with someone as opposed to befriending someone solely for sex. In that case, well you're a 'sex' buddy.

It means that u can use ur friend to ur advantage. Like my friend just recently broke up with her boyfriend and she said that he wanted her to be a friend with benefits, which meant that they would go back out to build up their self-esteem....but i told her shes too good to be like that
