& think what a stupid answer & then you delete it?

Ha, ha! Sometimes I will realize that I made some mistakes or mispelled some words and change or add something to it. I also like to check and see if I got any thumbs ups or thumbs downs.

For sure, I did do that once.
And then I thought of a much better answer.
And what a shock to realise once you've answered and deleted a question, you cannot submit another.
Whoever thought up that rule?
The moral of this story.
Always EDIT, never delete.
Remember Ausblue, we all read the same thing but we all process it differently.
To (many) people your original answer was probably not stupid at all.

I read them sometimes, but I've never deleted one.
Hey, maybe the ones you deleted would have been the best answer!

I reread my answers, and the others, but I leave them be.
I answer from the heart and use my head in doing so.
I want to help while telling it as I see it. With a personal story to relate ,if I have one. Those are the kind of answers I like to my questions. I joined this site to help & be helped.~~~Jill

nope, I have gone back to see how many thumbs down i got....
but never deleted or altered an answer... as freud would say what slips from the tongue is normally the way you feel, I see it as being the same with my first answer

I re-edit my answers for clarity, spelling, and punctuation. Also, I want to see if anyone had the nerve to give it a thumbs down!

Yes I do, I also delete my answer and start again, sometimes I say, Arh... forget it and just don't answer it.
