.I was told many years ago I had astigmatism. Which I was also told is a flat spot on the eye. My eyes have not gotten any worse, in fact they are better. My close up vision has improved. I only where glasses for driving now. I think once you are fully grown it would stay stable. I was told at the time it could have an effect on wearing contacts. I wish I could tell you exactly why but it never posed a problem for me. I hope this helps.

Yes, follow your eye doctors instructions. Get the glasses, or now they have contacts. Everything can get worse if you don't deal with it head on.

yes.. it can.. as u grow older the eyes grows... that is why its recommended... to see ur eye dr. yearly..astigmatism is when ur eyes are shaped like a footballand not as a sphere.. thats why u can sometimes see blurred and some clear.. and it always helps to eat healthy for example lots of veggies, fish, and plenty of water to keep ur eyes lubricated..

No but your eye sight can get worse. If you have the money I HIGHLY recommend getting lasik eye surgery once your 18-20 (when your eyesight stops changing so dramatically). It's the best thing I could have ever bought.
